OBIT-OLINGER, PHILLIP EUGENE

OLINGER, Phillip Eugene, 49, of Radford, died Tuesday, January 25, 1994, at Radford Community Hospital. Born April 21, 1944, to C.P. Olinger and Edith Hall, he was a member of Morgans Chapel United Methodist Church, a member of Fairlawn Lions Club, and a lifetime member of the Pulaski County Life Saving Crew. Mr. Olinger worked at New River Castings, Radford. He is survived by his wife, Lyndia Graham Olinger, Radford; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy O. and James Rorrer, Pulaski; his mother, Edith Olinger, Christiansburg. He is also survived by his mother-in-law; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 28, 1994, from the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ernest Chinault officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy may be made in the form of a donation to the Pulaski County Life Saving Crew. DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford is handling the arrangements.
