OBIT-STROCK, STELLA H.

STROCK, Stella H., 87, of Laurel Fork, died Monday, January 24, 1994, at her daughter's home in Dunellon, Fla. She and her husband, the late Winfield H. Strock founded the Gospel Chapel in Laurel Fork. She was a former school teacher. Surviving are a daughter, Alice S. Richter of Dunellon, Fla.; one son, Winfield H. Strock of Charleston, W.Va.; sisters, Ellen Hodges and Georgie Orndorff, both of Alexandria; brothers, Charles Hodges and Russell Hodges, both of Roanoke, Glenn Hodges of Willis; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29 at Gospel Chapel, Laurel Fork. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Friday, January 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home, Hillsville and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
