RVC BOYS FALL IN TOURNAMENT

Al Bell had 24 points to lead five double-figure scorers as Prince Avenue defeated Roanoke Valley Christian 85-71 on Thursday night in the Christian Cup boys' basketball tournament.

Prince Avenue, from Athens, Ga., built a 14-point halftime lead and played the Eagles even in the second half.

Scott Apjok led Roanoke Valley Christian (4-8) with 26 points.
