VAUGHT, J. J., ("Jimmy"), 67, of Marion died Wednesday, January 26, 1994,
in Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Vaught was owner and operator of J.J.
Vaught Transfer Company and a lifetime member of the Fulton United Methodist
Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Vaught of Marion; two daughters
and sons-in-law, Judy and Russell Kelly of Rural Retreat, Va., Jamie and
Michael Coleman of Johnson City, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Martha Kelly; one
step-granddaughter, Amber Coleman; one brother, Harold F. Vaught of Mosheim,
Tenn. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 1994, 2 p.m. at
Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Buford Hankins and the Rev. Dwight Kilbourne
officiating. Entombment will be accepted or donations may be made to the
Fulton United Methodist Church, c/o Jack Dutton, Route 2 Box 134, Rural
Retreat, Va. 24368. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at
Seaver-Brown Chapel.
