TECH GROUPS ENTERTAIN KIDS

The Arnold Air Society, a service organization at Virginia Tech affiliated with the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps - AFROTC - entertained 28 local children at its annual Christmas party at Squires Student Center in December.

The children participated in making Christmas tree decorations, watching Christmas movies and visiting with Santa Claus. Burger King provided lunch, and Wade's and Super X Drugs gave other food items. Mish Mish and K-mart donated craft supplies. Gifts for the children were provided by Wal-Mart and private donations.

Volunteers from the Arnold Air Society worked closely with a representative of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a business fraternity at Virginia Tech, organizing the three hour event for children.
