OBIT MILES, STELLA PECK

MILES, Stella Peck, 100, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, January 26, 1994, in a Roanoke nursing home. She was 100 years old on January 16, 1994. She was the widow of O.M. Miles and was preceded in death by a son, O.M. Miles Jr. Mrs. Miles was born in Fincastle. She was a member of Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Stella M. Hood, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted from the graveside, Sherwood Memorial Park, 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Dr. F. Tupper Garden officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
