FRANKLIN CRASH KILLS ROANOKE WOMAN

A Roanoke woman died when her car hit a railroad bridge Wednesday night in Franklin County.

Linda M. Forsee, 43, was driving south on Virginia 697 near Wirtz when her car skidded off the right side and hit the bridge, state police said. Forsee, of the 300 block of Mountain Avenue Southwest, died at the scene.

Police said Forsee was not wearing a seat belt. Details of the cause of the accident were unavailable.
