OBIT WRIGHT, LOUISE HIGGINBOTHAM

WRIGHT, Louise Higginbotham, 92, of Arrington, died Thursday, January 27, 1994 in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. Born in Nelson County August 9, 1901, she was a daughter of the late James W. Higginbotham and Ora Hughes Higginbotham. She was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Otey N. Wright; one daughter, Frances Wright Mahone Cox and her husband, Vincent, of Bedford; two granddaughters, Brenda Mahone Stubbs of Lynchburg, and Barbara Mahone Jones of Chapel Hill, N.C.; five great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Nelson Wright. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 30th in Woodland Baptist Church by the Rev. David Blevins with burial in Woodland Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, Roseland, Saturday, January 29th from 5 to 7 p.m. and at other times at the home of her daughter at 203 Palomino Lane in Bedford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roseland Rescue Squad, Roseland, Va. 22967.
