Ann Beard and David Linkimer are engaged and planning to be married July 30, 1994 in Roanoke. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Beard. Shegraduated from Harborcreek High School in Erie, Pa., and Penn State University. She is employed by Hollins College while earning a Master's degree there. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Linkimer of Hamilton Square, N.J. He graduated from Steinert High School in Hamilton, Square, N.J., and Penn State University. He is employed by Lynchburg Police Dept.
