HARMAN-WHALEN

Mr. and Mrs. David R. Harman of Willis, Virginia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Jane, to Michael James Whalen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Gardner, also ofWillis.

Miss Harman attends RoanokeCollege and will receive her BS in Biology in May. Mr. Whalen attends the United States Military Academy at West Point and will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army following graduation in May.

The wedding is planned for June 18, 1994.
