BENTLEY-AUSTIN

The Union Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church was the setting for the 6:00 p.m. candlelight wedding of Loretta Lynn Austin of Christiansburg and Daniel Quinton Bentley of Christiansburg, Friday, December 31, 1993.

The Rev. Larry D. Snider of Blacksburg was the officiating clergyman for the marriage. The church was decorated with candles and southern magnolias with Queen Anne's lace. Arrangements designed and made by Carolyn Johnston of Dublin. Hairstylist, Angela Goad, The Cutting Edge, Radford.

The traditional wedding music was furnished by Mr. Brian Linkous of Christiansburg with special vocalists, Ellen Scott of Floyd, Julie Hylton of Floyd and Doug Franklin of Pulaski. The bride, given by her father, Charles W. Austin, wore a formal ivory satin gown covered with antique lace, simulated pearls and sequins with a victorian neckline. She carried a bouquet of wildflowers with southern magnolias with Queen Anne's lace.

Candles were lit by Anthony McPeak, son of the bride, and Doug Franklin. Lisa L. Davis of Christiansburg was the maid of honor. She wore a black dress of woven acetate and rayon. The bridesmaids were Missy Franklin of Pulaski, Sandy Howell of Radford and Donna Shannon of Christiansburg. They wore dresses identical to that of the maid of honor.

Hope Linkous of Christiansburg was the flower girl and Dustin McPeak, son of the bride, was the ring bearer. Mr. Walter Q. Bentley, father of the groom, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Mike Austin of Radford, Brad Bentley of Riner, Tom Bentley of Christiansburg. Guestbook attendant was Connie Burk of Christiansburg. Wedding director, Cheryl Austin. Reception attendants, Connie Burk, Mary Miller, Betty Osbourne and Carolyn Johnston. Videographer, Sandy Lovern. Photographer, Tony Lovern.

The reception was held at Pilot Community Center following the ceremony.

The couple will reside in Riner, Va.
