MEDLIN-BYRD

Joly Barbara Byrd and Sterling S. Medlin III were married September 25, 1993, in Northside Baptist Church,Mechansville, Va. Rev. Bill Corey performed the ceremony. The reception was held at Hanover Country Club, Ashland, Va. The maid of honor was Teri Jo Brandon, Stow, Ohio, cousin of the bride. The best man was Sterling S. Medlin, father of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon L. Byrd, of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1988 and from Radford University in 1992. She is employed by Johnston Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Medlin, Jr., of Mechansville, Va. He attended Radford University and is employed by Rich Foods. After the wedding trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, the newlyweds will live in Mechansville, Va.
