MONTGOMERY, Parthenia Jane, 21, both of Rt 1, Wirtz, died Friday, January 28, 1994. Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by his father, Joel A. Montgomery and followed in death by his daughter, Parthenia Jane Montgomery. Surviving are his wife, Lydia May Denlinger Montgomery; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Marie Montgomery, Glade Hill, Lowell and Marti Montgomery, Arcanum, Ohio, Calvin and Pauline Montgomery, Wirtz; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lareda and Barry Patterson, Arcanum, Ohio, Wanita and Stephen Rutrough, Rocky Mount; 18 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Annie Montgomery, Wirtz; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and James Rutrough, Boones Mill, Catherine and Elwood Bowman, Rocky Mount; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Crist and Ethelene Montgomery, Wirtz; Jacob and Mary Montgomery, West Milton, Ohio, Howard and Goldie Montgomery, Greenville, Ohio, Robert and Carol Montgomery, Wirtz; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Parthenia was preceded in death by her father, Levi Montgomery. Surviving are two children, Christopher Lee Montgomery age 4 and Sabrina Nicole Montgomery age 2; her mother, Lydia May Montgomery, Wirtz; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Marie Montgomery, Glade Hill, Lowell and Marti Montgomery, Arcanum, Ohio, Calvin and Pauline Montgomery, Wirtz; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lareda and Barry Patterson, Arcanum, Ohio, Wanita and Stephen Rutrough, Rocky Mount; grandmother, Mrs. Annie Montgomery, Wirtz; a number of aunts and uncles; 16 nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Montgomery and his daughter will be conducted at Oak Hill Old German Baptist Church, 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family asks that flowers be omitted. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
