PUCKETT, Eli L., 62, of Vinton, died Saturday, January 29, 1994. He was
employed by Roanoke County and had retired from the U.S. Army in 1977. Mr.
Puckett is survived by his loving wife, Rosa of Vinton; daughter and
son-in-law, Gabrielle and Leon Jacobi of St. Louis, Mo.; son and
daughter-in-law, Ronald and Teresa Puckett of Charleston, S.C.; grandchildren,
John, James, Marcus, Mark Lewis, Anthony, Andrea, Meggan, and Erin;
great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Joshua; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and
Buford Beckner of Roanoke, Margie and Michael Watts of King George, Va. and
Linda Allwine of Elliston, Va.; brothers and sister-in-law, Ernest and Marla
Puckett of Pueblo, Colo., Amos D. Puckett of Salem, Va. and Mitchel E. of
Rocky Mount, Va.; several nieces and nephews, cousins, great-nieces and
great-nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 1994, at
Lotz Vinton Chapel at 2 p.m with the Rev. Irvin W. Sloan officiating.
Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz
Vinton Chapel.
