OBIT-SANDIDGE, MELVIN VERNON
SANDIDGE, Melvin Vernon, 65, of Troutville, died Saturday, January 29,
1994. He was a lifetime member of the Roanoke Bowling Association. He is
survived by his wife, Juanita Sandidge of Troutville; one daughter and
son-in-law, Joyce and Bobby Poff of Roanoke; three sons and two
daughters-in-law, Wayne Sandidge of Salem, Rodney and Teresa Sandidge of
Troutville, Jeffery and Vickie Sandidge of Cloverdale; one sister-in-law,
Janet Perkins of Salem; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
2 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 1994 at the Rader Troutville Chapel, with the Rev.
Bob Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in the Troutville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
funeral home.
