OBIT-BANE, GEORGE HARRISON

BANE, George Harrison, 55, of Parrott, passed away Sunday, January 30, 1994. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Sumler Bane of Parrott; three sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie D. and Robin Bane of Christiansburg, Steve H. Bane and Anthony "Tony" W. and Becky Bane, all of Radford; one stepdaughter, Wanda K. Johns of Roanoke; one brother, Stanley Bane of Parrott; four sisters, Ruby Davis of Roanoke, Noami Goad and Ann Flinchum, both of Parrott, and Eunis Foster of Radford; and three grandchildren, Tommy, Andy and Eddie. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 1994 at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with the Rev. William O. Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Sifford Cemetery at Parrott. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home.
