OBIT ROSS, MAGGIE BEE THOMPSON

ROSS, Maggie Bee Thompson, 79, of 3335 Greenland Ave. N.W., Roanoke, died Friday, January 28, 1994. She is survived by six daughters, Miss Thelma Thompson of Lancaster, Pa., Mrs. Alemeater Rodriquez of Wilmington, Del., Mrs. Betty M. Wright and Miss Jessie Ross, both of Rocky Mount, Mrs. Patricia Buchanan of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Carolyn Freeman of Roanoke; two sons, Percy R. Thompson of Compton, Calif., Thomas E. Ross of Detroit, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two uncles, Rev. T. B. Hamlin of Crystal, W.Va., Eldridge Diggs of Bluefield, W.Va.; three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, 1 p.m., at the Coles Creek Baptist Church, Franklin County, with Rev. Bobby Jordan officiating. Friends may call at Stanfield Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will follow in Carolina Springs Church Cemetery.
