Wolford's 8-foot jumper with 1 minute, 15 seconds remaining gave Carroll County (4-9) its first lead of the game at 65-63. Graham (10-3) had taken a 25-11 lead after the first quarter and led by as many as 17 before the Cavaliers outscored the G-Men 17-8 in the final period.

PEARISBURG - Marty Smith and Patrick Steele scored 15 points apiece to lead the Spartans to a Mountain Empire District victory over the Eagles.
Smith also had seven assists for Giles (5-7, 5-5), which trailed by one point after the first quarter.
After grabbing a 41-27 lead after three quarters, Giles outscored Rocky Gap (3-11, 3-9) 29-8 in the fourth quarter to clinch the victory.
Billy Hoosier led the Eagles with 13 points. \

Dyer Jackson scored a game-high 23 points for Fort Chiswell (6-7, 5-6). T.J. King and Jody Burnette added 12 points apiece. Brad Hughes scored seven points for the Pioneers in addition to his seven steals and 10 assists.
Matt Snow led Galax (3-10, 3-8) with 17 points. \
