KOREAN WAR SOLDIER'S REMAINS ARE IDENTIFIED

The remains of a U.S. soldier lost in the Korean War nearly 44 years ago have been identified as Sgt. Frank M. Morales, the first formal identification of remains from North Korea since shortly after the war ended.

The Pentagon has tentatively identified four other sets of remains, according to defense sources, but those associations must be studied and affirmed by an Army review board before they are announced as positive identifications. - Associated Press
