NEW FOREST PLAN HOLDING 2 SEMINARS

The Jefferson National Forest will hold two seminars next week in Marion and Roanoke on how scenery will be managed in the new forest plan being developed.

The Forest Service's listing of scenic areas, including wild and scenic river inventories, will be available at the meetings Monday at Marion Senior High School and Tuesday at the Jefferson headquarters in Valleypointe. Both programs will run from 7 to 9 p.m.
