OBIT OVERFELT, CHARLIE ABE
OVERFELT, Charlie Abe, 83, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, February 1,
1994, in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell C.
Overfelt; two grandsons, Michael L. Ridenhour and Anthony Scott Overfelt. Mr.
Overfelt retired from the American Viscose and Singer Furniture Company.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia O. Proffitt, Donna O. Nimer both of
Roanoke; two sons, James A. Overfelt, Christiansburg, Charles E. Overfelt and
wife, Elizabeth, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Kendall Counts, Christoper C.
Overfelt both of Roanoke; two brothers, Allen Overfelt, Roanoke, David
Overfelt, Boones Mill; two sisters, Sally Bryant, Hollins and Ella Whitesell,
New Jersey; devoted family relative Twylia A. Overfelt, Christiansburg. A
memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, February 4, 1994, at Oakey's
North Chapel by the Rev. Ben Peyton. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.
