OBIT RAMSEY, CHARLES CALVIN

RAMSEY, Charles Calvin, 82, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, February 1, 1994 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Fannie Weaver Ramsey. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Ramsey Thomas and David H. Thomas, Scottsdale, Ariz.; son and daughter-in-law, Calvin Henry Ramsey and Leathia W. Ramsey, Roanoke; grandchildren, Lisa Ramsey Wright, Roanoke, Terry Ramsey Francisco, Roanoke, Sharon K. Ramsey, Vinton, Erica Y. Parrish, Roanoke; great-granchildren, Kristyn Elaine Francisco, Sarah Marie Francisco, and Samuel Wayne Wright. Funeral services will be from Oakey's North Chapel, 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Ernest Deyerle officiating. Interment will be in Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
