OBIT CHITTUM, MARTHA SUE

CHITTUM, Martha Sue, 49, of Lexington, died Sunday, January 30, 1994, in the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem. Miss Chittum was born in Lexington on October 29, 1944, a daughter of William B. Chittum of Lexington and the late Frances Straub Chittum. She was a member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church, Lexington, a computer programmer for the Rockbridge Farmers Cooperative in Lexington for the past 21 years and a member of the Lexington Business & Professional Womens Club. In addition to her father, she is survived by a sister, Kay Chittum Ayres, Lexington; three brothers, William S. Chittum, Robert A. Chittum and James D. Chittum, all of Lexington; and a special aunt, Martha S. Barger, Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 1994, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey officiating, with burial to follow in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, Lexington.
