PARK CHANGES BOAT FEE COLLECTION

Claytor Lake State Park will change the way it collects boat launching fees during the 1994 season. The parking and launching fee of $4 per vehicle will be collected at the park contact station instead of at the marina.

The parking fee will remain at $2 per vehicle this season, which opens May 29.

Honor-system parking remains in effect during the off-season. The off-season fees are $1 for parking and $3 for parking and launching.

Season passes may be purchased at the park office Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Season passes are $20 for parking and $45 for parking and launching.
