A number of senior citizens have been working at the camp, but more are needed, said Ricky Showalter, the department's program coordinator.
All talents are needed, he said, not only manual trades but also office skills.
"There's plenty of work, and we need all types of skills," he said.
Showalter said there is a particular need for those who can do publicity, marketing and fund raising.
All construction skills are needed, he said, including helpers, and those who have heavy equipment to lend.
There also is a need for people who can refinish furniture.
Anyone interested in joining this project can call Showalter at 387-6172.
