DAY OF APPALACHIAN STORIES, MUSIC SET

The Appalachian Event Committee of Radford University is holding an Appalachian Awareness Day on Feb. 11. Admission is free, and events take place in the Cascades Room of Heth Hall.

\ 10-10:30 a.m. Chris White, Appalachian storyteller, will present "Quilted Memories" and more.

\ 11-11:40 a.m. June Draper, guitar and singing traditional country music.

\ 11:50-12:30 p.m. R.U.'s Own, Appalachian talent reading and musical performance.

\ 12:30-1:20 p.m. Nero's Night, progressive, acoustic music.

\ 1:30-2 p.m. R.U.'s Own, Appalachian talent reading and musical performance.

\ 2-2:50 p.m. Crossties, traditional and contemporary bluegrass music.

\ 3-3:50 p.m. Appalkids, Pulaski County High School group with storytelling and music.

\ 4-4:50 p.m. Kanawha Tradition, old-time music.
