CABLE CHANNEL OFFERS LOOK AT LEGISLATURE

A series of programs featuring area legislators made its premiere on local cable Channel 9 Thursday night.

"Cranwell's Richmond Report" is taped at the General Assembly Building in Richmond and will air every Thursday night at 7 p.m. on Cox Cable's public access channel. Featured delegates include Richard Cranwell, D-Roanoke County; Clifton "Chip" Woodrum, D-Roanoke; and recently elected Morgan Griffith, R-Salem.

Another program, "Cable Reports from the General Assembly" - produced in January by the Virginia Cable Television Association - will air on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. through Feb. 22 on Channel 9.
