OBIT DIVERS, MARY FRANCES

DIVERS, Mary Frances, ("May"), 93, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, February 2, 1994. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two granddaughters. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and Lewis Holland, Edith and J.W. Maxey; son and daughter-in-law, George and Pauline Divers; a special great-nephew, Kenneth Altice, all of Roanoke; grandchildren and spouses, Michael and Pam Maxey, Betty and Troy Woolwine, Paul and Linda Austin, Bonnie and Kevin Dooley; 13 great-grandchildren and spouses; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hattie Dalton, Maggie Simpson and Earnie Flora. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Hollandsworth officiating, with burial in Cross Roads Cemetery (Gills Creek). The family will receive friends at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
