Junior center Abby Dickson scored 19 of her game-high 23 points in the middle two quarters, when the Celtics pulled away in raising their record to 12-5 overall and 9-2 in the Blue Ridge Conference.

Every player scored for Roanoke Catholic, which got 12 points from Teresa Monsour. Roanoke Valley Christian (8-7, 6-5) did not have a double-figure scorer.

Franklin County 58 Heritage 45

ROCKY MOUNT - Patricia Campbell scored 16 points and Sandy Hudson added 10 as the Eagles rolled past the Pioneers in a non-district game.

Franklin County (5-7) trailed 8-5 after one quarter, but outscored the Pioneers 39-27 in the next two periods.
