Deborah L. Saunders-Tynes and David Alan Wilcox were married January 1,
1994, in the Wedding Chapel. John Crawford performed the ceremony. The
reception was held at Sunnybrook Inn. The maid of honor was Penny Rains,
friend of the bride. The best man was JerryPlunkett, friend of the groom.
Ringbearer was Matthew A. Tynes, son of the bride. The bride was given away by
her son, Andrew Tynes. Special thanks to Pamela Blankenship, Mary Louise
Nackley, and Missy Boder, who's help played an important part in our wedding.
The bride designed and made her own gown and veil. She carried a bouquet of
fresh cut flowers. The bride is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hampton
Saunders. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and Radford University.
She is employed by Stop In Food Stores, Inc. The bridegroom is a son of Mr.
and Mrs. Warren C. Wilcox, of Wheeling, W.Va. He graduated from Triadelphia
High School in Wheeling, W.Va., and National Business College. He is employed
by Automotive Paint & Supply Co. After the wedding trip to Niagara Falls,
Canada, the newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
