OBIT STALEY, MABEL HORTON

STALEY, Mabel Horton, 87, of Roanoke, passed away Friday evening, February 4, 1994, in Our Lady of the Valley. She was the widow of J.W. ("Jake") Staley, a member of the West End United Methodist Church, and was retired from Shenandoah Life Insurance Company with 47 years of service. Surviving are a niece, Trudye Horton, of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Evergreen Burial Park, at noon Monday, with Dr. Bernard S. Via Jr. and the Rev. M. Chick Wilkerson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to a favorite charity. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
