OBIT WOHLFORD, GRETTA HEPLER

WOHLFORD, Gretta Hepler, 82, of 3807 Stratford Park Drive, Roanoke, died Friday, February 4, 1994 in Roanoke Memorial Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 27, 1911 in Allegheny County the daughter of the late Wesley Taylor and Rose Ellen Tucker Hepler. Mrs. Wohlford was a former employee at Lindsey-Robinson, Inc. in Roanoke. She was a retired secretary with Rockydale Quarries in Roanoke. She was preceded in death by her husband Dexter F. (Mike) Wohlford Jr., who died in Italy in World War II. Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Pauline Hepler Clark, Stuart; two nephews, Mr. William Blair Clark Jr., Stuart, Mr. Jerry W. Wohlford, Galax. Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. from the graveside at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Gretta Hepler Wholford. Arrangements by Arritt Funeral Home.
