OBIT KESLER, JAMES VERNON

KESLER, James Vernon, 82, of Rt. 1, Union Hall, died Saturday, February 5, 1994, in the local hospital. Mr. Kesler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esterlene B. Kesler of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ernest Marion, Cumberland, Va.; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Clarence and Pam Brooks, Union Hall; one grandson, Jay Marion and wife, Karen; one great-grandson, James Ryan Marion, all of Cumberland, Va.; one stepgrandson, John Edward Brooks, Union Hall. Also surviving is one very special friend, Harry ("Buddy") Board and family. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 7, 1994, at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Rick Poland and the Rev. Belle Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Kesler Family Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday after noon at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements by Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
