OBIT WITHERS, DONALD DAVID

WITHERS, Donald David, 77, of Route 1, Boones Mill, died Friday, February 4, 1994. Mr. Withers was retired from the City of Roanoke Water Department with 23 years service. Surviving are his wife, Edna Saar Withers; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Roy Pugh, Boones Mill; a granddaughter and husband, Cynthia and Steve Kadel, Tempe, Ariz.; a grandson, Mark Christopher Pugh, Boones Mill; three stepsisters, Dorothy Reed, Josephine VanBibber, Louise Hudson, all of Roanoke; two stepsisters-in-law, Margaret Beard and Elizabeth Beard, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 p.m. Monday, February 7, 1994 with the Rev. E. Wayne Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
