OBIT KING, FLOYD EDWARD

KING, Floyd Edward, 76, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, February 5, 1993. He was a member of Mt. View Methodist Church, retired from APCO with 43 years service, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II. Survivors include one son, James E. King Sr. of Dublin; two stepsons, Jack R. Thacker of Mendota, John D. Thacker of Hartford, Tenn.; two sisters, Margaret K. Murphy of Baltimore, Md., and Lorraine Cole of Randlestown, Md.; two grandchildren; and special friend, Marie Adams. Light of his life, Lauraetta Roope. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 7, 1994 at 2 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin with the Rev. Ty Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
