OBIT FRANCE, WILLIAM CARL
FRANCE, William Carl, 60, of Duffield, died Friday, February 4, 1994. He
was a retired master pipefitter with Holston Defense Division of
Tennessee-Eastman. Mr. France was a long time member of the Clinchport Masonic
Lodge A.F. & A.M. and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Carlee
S. France; son, William C. France Jr. of Duffield, daughter and son-in-law,
Lisa F. and B.P. Simpson of Floyd County; sister, Daphene Musick of Gate City;
two grandchildren, Joey and Elizabeth Simpson. A funeral service will be
conducted from the chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home 2 p.m. Sunday,
February 6, 1994 with the Rev. Darrell Fletcher and the Rev. Ralph Crawford
officiating. Burial will be in Holston View Cemetery, Scott County. Masonic
rites will be by Clinchport Masonic Lodge. Friends may call at Gate City
Funeral Home, Gate City.
