OBIT BRYAN, JANE HARSHBARGER
BRYAN, Jane Harshbarger, 64, of Daleville, passed away Sunday, February 6,
1994 in a local hospital. Mrs. Bryan, along with her late husband, William R.
Bryan, were co-owners of the Bryan Rubber Company in Salem for many years. She
was owner/operator of Janie Bee Kennels in Fincastle and most recently, owned
and managed the Cloverdale Supply Company in Cloverdale. Mrs. Bryan graduated
from Jefferson High School of Roanoke. Surviving are her mother, Thelma B.
Harshbarger, Roanoke; brother, Robert E. Harshbarger and wife, Dora,
Daleville; sisters, Barbara Harshbarger West and husband, Gene, Salem, Sue
Harshbarger Bagnoli and husband, Bob, Daleville; stepson, William R. Bryan and
wife, Jill, Richmond; grandchildren, William Bryan, Colo., Sarah Lynn
Ketelsen, Iowa; one great-grandchild. For those preferring to make memorial
contributions the family suggest the Troutville Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 11,
Troutville, Va. 24175. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in
the Chapel at Sherwood Memorial Park by Dr. Harry Y. Gamble. The family will
receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's North Chapel.
