OBIT DILLON, RENA MAE RICHARDS

DILLON, Rena Mae Richards, 90, of Roanoke, died Saturday, February 5, 1994. Mrs. Dillon went to be with the Lord. She was a charter member of Oakland Baptist Church, membe of Fidelis Sunday school class and choir member. She was the widow of John William Dillon and was preceded in death by her son, William B. Dillon. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Dillon Beeton, Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons, John C. Dillon, Roanoke and James A. Dillon, Santa Monica, Calif.; one brother, Dr. James A. Richards, Ledgewood, N.J.; 7 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Oakland Baptist Church, 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Harvey Beeton and the Rev. David Beeton officiating. Interment will be in Eden, N.C., 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Friends are invited to join the family at Oakey's North Chapel Monday, February 7, 1994, from 7 to 9 p.m.
