OBIT GUILLIAMS, BERNARD LAWRENCE
GUILLIAMS, Bernard Lawrence, ("Pete"), 64, of Rocky Mount, died Sunday,
February 6, 1994 in Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem. He was preceded in death by
his father, Roy Lee Guilliams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired
from Centel Telephone Company. He is survived by his mother, Altha Furrow
Guilliams of Callaway; wife, Betty Fisher Guilliams of the home; daughter,
Pamela K. Guilliams of Roanoke; four sisters and brother-in-laws, Sylvia
Cooper and Arlene Carter, both of Roanoke, Vera and John LaPrade of Boones
Mill, Dot and James Webb of Callaway; six brothers and sister-in-laws, Newton
and Norma Jean Guilliams, Coy and Carolina Guilliams, Fred and Barbara
Guilliams, Ronnie and Joyce Guilliams, all of Callaway, Steve and Linda
Guilliams of Sydnorsville, Barry Guilliams of Roanoke; a special friend, Alan
Messenger; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday, February 8, 1994 at 2 p.m. in Lynch Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Gary Milstead and the Rev. John Carrier officiating. Burial will be in
Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday night from
7 to 9 at Lynch Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 Monday after noon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Highland United Methodist Church,
Callaway or to the charity of your choice.
