ESPN announced its Thursday night College Football Association schedule for next season on Monday, including the West Virginia-Virginia Tech game on Sept. 22 at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg. Kickoff will be at 7:55 p.m.

The Big East Football Conference will have one other date on the series, when Boston College visits Louisville for a Nov. 3 non-conference game. The ACC has two home appearances - Arizona at Georgia Tech on Sept. 1 and Army at Duke on Sept. 15.

The only date not filled is the Thanksgiving night game, traditionally belonging to Texas-Texas A&M. The Aggies' NCAA probation prevents that, so the cable network is seeking another game to move to that date.

The Thursday night ESPN schedule:

Sept. 1, Arizona at Georgia Tech; Sept. 8, Nebraska at Texas Tech; Sept. 15, Army at Duke; Sept. 22, West Virginia at Virginia Tech; Sept. 29, Kentucky at Auburn; Oct. 6, Kansas State at Kansas; Nov. 3, Boston College at Louisville; Nov. 10, San Diego State at Brigham Young; Nov. 24, to be announced.
