Cheryl Rhodes and Aimee Beightol combined to score 13 of the Knights' 20 fourth-quarter points in a Roanoke Valley District win over the Colonels.

Rhodes scored seven points in the final period, and Beightol added six as Cave Spring (15-2, 7-2) outscored Fleming (9-6, 5-4) 20-11 in the fourth quarter. Rhodes finished with 13 points and Beightol and Leah Daigle scored 10 apiece.

Felecia Manns led the Colonels with a game-high 15 points.

\ Roanoke Catholic 44\ Roanoke Valley Christian 40

Abby Dickerson's stickback with 52 seconds remaining broke a 40-40 tie, and Elaine Ronquillo's two free throws with 17 seconds remaining iced the Blue Ridge Conference victory for the Celtics.

Liz Landry led Roanoke Catholic (12-5) with 11 points.

Tiffany Hogan scored 10 for Roanoke Valley Christian (10-9), and Jenny Coons added 10.

\ Carlisle 27\ North Cross 26

MARTINSVILLE - Katie Haskins scored 11 points as the Indians squeaked by the Raiders in a Blue Ridge Conference game.

North Cross (9-7) led 8-4 after the first period, but Carlisle (3-12) used a 10-3 second period to take control. The Indians never again trailed.

Lesley Dodson led the Raiders with 10 points.
