"We are gratified that Coca-Cola, the world's best known brand, has selected the NBA as a worldwide marketing partner," commissioner David Stern said in New York. "Basketball's future international growth will be dramatically enhanced by the alliance with the world's premier global marketing company."
Part of the program will include a 30-second animated television advertisement called "Dancing Clothes," which will make its debut during Sunday's NBA All-Star game on NBC-TV. It also will be shown for six weeks in United Artists theatres, beginning Feb. 18.
