OBIT WIMMER, ELBERT KENT

WIMMER, Elbert Kent, 70, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday morning, February 8, 1994 at his home. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vernie K. Wimmer. He is survived by his wife, Mazie C. Wimmer; two sons and daughters-in-law, James A. and Joy B. Wimmer, Cark K. and Sheree D. Wimmer, all of Christiansburg; a sister, Hazel W. Jennings, Blacksburg; and 3 grandchildren, Brandi Wimmer, Danielle Wimmer, Christopher Wimmer. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Eugene Flinchum with burial in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, 24073. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at the funeral home and the family will receive friends there Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
