OBIT FREEMAN, DOUGLAS EDWARD
FREEMAN, Douglas Edward, ("Doug"), 51, of 534 Oakview Dr., Salem, died
Tuesday, February 8, 1994. He was born in Pulaski on February 28, 1942, and he
was the son of the late Garnett Freeman. He was a member of the Pulaski
American Legion Post #7, he was a veteran having served in the United States
Air Force, and he was a machinist at the GE plant in Salem. Surviving are his
mother, Elva Jones Freeman, Pulaski; sister, Barbara Freeman, Pulaski; sister
and brother-in-law, Janice and Danny Zeoli, Dublin; brother and sister-in-law,
Richard and Beulah Freeman, Botetourt County; one aunt, Mrs. Kate Harriman,
Lynchburg; four nephews, two nieces. Funeral services will be held Friday at
2:00 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Howlett
officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski where the
family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens
