OBIT NICHOLS, ONJALA IMANI

NICHOLS, Onjala Imani, infant daughter of Fletcher Jr. and Synethia Nichols, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, February 7, 1994. Also surviving are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher L. Nichols Sr., Zuni, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Mason Jr., Norfolk; uncles and wives, John and Doris Mason, Secretary, Md., David and Lorraine Nichols, Smithfield; aunts and husbands, Christopher and Francena Jegede, New York, N.Y., MacDonald and T. Angela Southall, Norfolk; cousins, Arielle Southall, Alexus Jegede, Antoine Nichols, Danielle Nichols, and Demetric Spratley, godparents, Spencer D. Brown, and Danlyn M. Wilson; a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday, 3:30 p.m. at Loudon Avenue Christian Church. The Rev. William L. Lee will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Raleigh Quarles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Men of Distinction and B.A.S.I.C. Ministries (check payable to Spencer D. Brown), your favorite church youth department or group, or the Community Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
