OBIT MULLEN, LAWRENCE HOUSTON

MULLEN, Lawrence Houston, 79, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, February 9, 1994, in Virginia Veterans Care Center. He was born February 19, 1914, in Chester County, Pa., and was the son of the late Edward and Sadie Platt Mullen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margarget W. Mullen on February 3, 1992. He was a retired U.S. Government employee. He is survived by one son, Gary W. Mullen, Salem, formerly of Buena Vista. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12, at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Bain officiating. Friends will be received at any time at the home of Mrs. Pauline Jones, 1346 Walnut Ave., Buena Vista. Lomax Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
