SPECIAL OLYMPICS INVITATIONAL SATURDAY

Area 9 Special Olympics will hold its Winter Basketball Invitational Saturday, Feb. 19, at War Memorial gymnasium on the Virginia Tech campus and at Blacksburg Middle School.

Registration for volunteers begins at 8:30 a.m. at War Memorial Gymnasium. The opening ceremony will be at 10:15 a.m.

Over 150 athletes will compete in full and half-court games and in individual skill events.

Everyone is welcome to attend or volunteer throughout the day. For more information, call 231-3122.|
