VCU COACH TO SPEAK AT SPORTS CLUB LUNCH

Virginia Commonwealth University head basketball coach Sonny Smith will be the guest speaker at the Blacksburg Sports Club weekly luncheon on Thursday. Smith served as assistant coach under Don DeVoe at Virginia Tech in the early 1970s, including the Hokies 1973 National Invitation Tournament championship team.

The hot buffet lunch is $6.50 per person and starts at noon at the Custom Catering Center on Patrick Henry Drive. Reservations are requested and may be made by calling 231-6285.
