The county will make up the day that was lost Friday by extending the school day by 15 minutes for elementary schools and 14 minutes for high schools for the rest of the year.
If there are more missed days, schools will be open April 5, which is part of the spring break, and March 12, a Saturday.
The county already has lost three days of its spring break.
School officials still hope to preserve two days of spring break - April 1 and April 4. But that could be in jeopardy if there is more bad weather.
If additional days are missed, the county would have to make them up on Saturdays or extend the school year. But school officials said they hope to avoid extending the school year because that could disrupt graduation-ceremony plans at the county's high schools.
The state requires school systems to have 180 days or 990 hours of classes a year.
