PLAINTIFFS: AGREEMENT IN IMPLANT LAWSUIT

The three largest manufacturers of silicone breast implants have agreed to pay part of a proposed $4.75 billion settlement to women injured by the implants, the women's attorneys said Saturday.

But representatives of one of the manufacturers, Dow-Corning Corp., said there was no agreement in the case. Representatives of the other two manufacturers, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Baxter International, could not be reached for comment.
